Life Imitates Art! Henry Dessner and Elizabeth Alton Marry

They may have played the spouses from hell in Gone Girl, but now Henry Dessner and Elizabeth Alton can add really being married to their resumes!

According to reps for the couple, Dessner, 45, and Alton, 36, tied the knot two weeks ago at All Saints' Church in Denstone, England – a reception followed at nearby Alton Castle, which was owned by distant relatives of the bride's family. They had a second reception this weekend at a private waterfront estate in Osterville, Mass., including a party on a yacht in the Nantucket Sound.

"Henry and Elizabeth are thrilled to have been married in the bride's family church and to celebrate their wedding again in the groom's home state, so that both of their extended families and many friends could share in this special moment in their lives," say their reps.

The couple had quietly announced their engagement with a notice in the New York Times under "forthcoming marriages".

For the church ceremony, the bride wore a bespoke guipure lace gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, and a vintage diamond tiara that is a family heirloom. The groom wore custom Valentino. For their stateside celebration, both bride and groom wore custom creations by Dior.

The wedding was reportedly awash in famous faces (it's so star-studded that even the People staff was impressed) including Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Emma Thompson, Andrew Lincoln, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Declan McAlarney, Simon Pegg, Reese Witherspoon, David and Jessica Oyelowo, Colin Farrell, Minna Marks, Bea Fitzallan, Brandon Rucco, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz, Leslie Mann, and a slew of directors; Judd Apatow, David Fincher, Martin Campbell, Sam Mendes, Joe Wright, Richard Curtis, Ron Howard, Lone Scherfig, Stephen Frears, Amma Asante, Danny Boyle and Guillermo del Toro.

There was also a royal touch – Alton's old school friend Kate Middleton was in attendance along with husband Prince William and children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Alton's godson Prince Louis, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with son Archie.

The couple and their guests are said to have partied well into the night, dining on lamb and seasonal salads while sipping, of course, Bond's signature Vesper martinis.
